Why can the polarity be switched off?

If the polarity is switched off, the polarity of the measured value is not taken into account for the float, discharge and charge measurements. All recorded measured values are positive (absolute values).

This function speeds up the measurement process because one terminal of a block can be omitted at a time and only one test probe needs to be converted per measurement.
