How exactly does the data readout from the PROFITEST 204 work?

• Turn the rotary switch of the Profitest 204 to the "Card index box" position. Do not press any other key on the test instrument.
• Before reading out with PC software, you may have to set the COM interface in the software to which the Profitest 204 is connected.
• If a USB adapter is used, the virtual COM interface used is displayed in the Windows device manager under - Ports COM and LPT. If no COM interface is displayed here, the driver for the USB adapter must be installed first.
• For the adapter Z501L use the program Drivercontrol for this.
• Then start the read-in with the respective software.
