The operating instructions and other documents repeatedly refer to the firmware version or device status. 
 
-  During the switch-on sequence of the device, the hardware and software release is briefly shown on the display (for approx. 1 s). Example: " rEL " "02.004", where "02" stands for the HW version and "004" for the SW version.
-  When the device is switched on, the display can be called up via the device menu [MENU] "SEtUP dEViCE", [<] "AUX", [ENTER] "InFo", [>] "VErSi", [ENTER] " rEL " "02.004". 
-  The HW and firmware version can be called up via the interface using the query command "*IDN?". 
-  If the SOFTFRONT panel (SFP) is used for the SYSKON constanter, the HW and SW release are automatically displayed in the "SYSTEM" window.
