Unfortunately, we have noticed that especially consumer USB sticks for USB 3.0 only adhere to the USB specification to a limited extent. Especially low-cost sticks contain different controllers depending on the delivery lot and thus function differently.
Many USB sticks are declared as USB 3.x and USB 2.0 compatible, but most manufacturers for USB stick controllers only test them under functions used by Windows and not against the complete USB specification.
This means that it is no longer guaranteed that any USB stick outside of Windows will work on other systems.
Presumably USB sticks with a storage capacity smaller than 32 GB, which are specified exclusively for USB 2.0, work better.
We will provide an updated list of the USB sticks we have tested as soon as possible.
