The SECUTEST must be provided with order feature M01 (Bluetooth) for this purpose.
SECUTEST from firmware 3.4.0 and newer:
Bluetooth keyboards that are "Bluetooth Classic (3.0)" compatible can be used with the SECUTEST from firmware version 3.4.0. Keyboards that only support the Bluetooth LowEnergy HOG profile (HID over GATT, Bluetooth 4.x) are not compatible with the SECUTEST's Bluetooth wireless standard and cannot be paired or used with the SECUTEST.
The following keyboard models are recommended:
- Rapoo E6080
- Logitech K380
- Keychron K3
We cannot guarantee operation with other devices.
Please pair only
one keyboard at a time with the SECUTEST.
Procedure using the Logitech K380 as an example:
- SECUTEST: Rotary switch setting SETUP-Bluetooth
- Set "Status" to "ON".
- Check "Device Couplings" if there are already keyboards listed, if so delete these couplings.
- Turn on the Logitech K380 keyboard
- Then press and hold key 1 (F1) on the keyboard until the LED above the key flashes rapidly
- SECUTEST: Rotary switch position SETUP - Bluetooth - Device pairings
- Press the softkey "Search".
- Wait until the search is completed (the scroll bar in the header no longer shows any activity)
- Search for the entry "Keyboard K380" in the list of Bluetooth devices in your environment and then press the corresponding key on the SECUTEST
- Enter the characters "1234" on the keyboard and then press the Return key
The keyboard is now connected - a symbol for a newly connected keyboard appears in the header.
If you encounter any problems, reset the keyboard to factory settings and repeat the above procedure.
Reset your keyboard to factory settings using the following steps:
- Turn on the keyboard.
- Press the following keys in direct succession
- [ESC]
- [o]
- [ESC]
- [o]
- [ESC]
- [b]
- To confirm, all LEDs of the keyboard should now flash
SECUTEST before firmware 3.3.2 and older:
Please use only HID wireless keyboards with USB dongle as wireless keyboard. The operation of Bluetooth keyboards is
not supported by SECUTEST with these firmware versions.
Even if pairing is possible, the data integrity of your stored test data may be compromised.
