The SECUTEST checks whether there is a short circuit between N and L, or between L/N and SL. In firmware versions < V7.08, the limit value was 2.5 ohms. In version V7.08, the limit value has been lowered to 1.5 ohms and the measuring time for the short circuit test has been extended.
The SECUTEST performs a leakage current measurement. Here, higher leakage currents can occur for DUTs with capacitive input circuitry and the SECUTEST reports short circuit. The value "Ground fault at 15.0 mA" can be increased under Setup, Limits.
