There are several options for backing up data from the IZYTRONIQ:
- Database backup in ZIP format
- Data export in XML format
- Data export in CSV format is only possible with master data
Data import via CSV and XML file works without problems under all versions of IZYTRONIQ.
However, if you are using the current IZYTRONIQ Enterprise version, it is not possible to import a
database backup (ZIP) from non-current business or education versions without further ado. If the
database backups are to be available for the latest Enterprise version, they must first be converted to the latest status using a Business or Education version. This process is described step by step below:
- Please make sure that both IZYTRONIQ applications are at the same software version.
- Start the Business or Education version.
- If a database already exists and you still need it, back it up!
- Now carry out a database restore (import) of the relevant database.
- Back up the database again
Now the database backup is at the right level to be transferred to the current Enterprise version without any problems.
If the problem occurs with further databases, repeat the procedure from the third step for all necessary databases.
