If the tester is not to be used for a longer period of time, the batteries, rechargeable batteries or battery pack should preferably be removed from the device.
If the batteries / battery pack have not been used or charged for a longer period of time - and are possibly
deeply discharged - observe the charging process (signaled by LEDs on the charger).
Please only read the charge level from the LED on the charger.
Do not switch on the device and call up the battery control display!
The charger LED behaves as follows:
- Briefly red directly after switching on.
- Then orange until a battery is detected.
- Then red during fast charging,
- Green with red pulses when the battery is still fully charged with 200mA and
- Only green when the battery is fully charged.
Therefore, please always switch off the Profitest Mxtra and then charge the battery.
The charger indicates that the battery is full when the LED only lights up green.
Please do not switch on the Profitest Mxtra to check "whether the battery is already full".
Switching on the device may cause the charging process to end prematurely.
If necessary, start another charging process by disconnecting the charger from the mains and the test device and then reconnecting it.
